 FLASH NOTES: Two teams that suffered one-sided losses last Friday, enter the final weekend of September with a chance to break out of frustration.
  Fairview had a game with Mortimer Jordan in which the Blue Devils used big plays from the special teams to get control and stay undefeated in 5A, Region 6 play.
  Priceville lost to a talented Deshler unit in 4A, Region 8 play on its own field. The Bulldogs are marred in a 14-game losing streak. This is so different for a team that was 8-3 and in the playoffs in 2015.
   It's again the opportunity for Fairview coach George Redding to equal his mentor, Dafford Smith. Redding is second in wins at Fairview with 64, one behind Smith's 65.
   If the Aggies claim victory this week, the opportunity for Redding to rewrite the Fairview history book would be next week in a region game at home with West Point.
   This will be the first official visit for Fairview to Priceville. The last time the Aggies traveled to Priceville, the Bulldogs were playing home games at West Morgan High School.
    Priceville meets Cullman County teams on consecutive weeks. After Fairview visits Friday, the Bulldogs host Vinemont next week.
