FLASH NOTES: Good Hope is out to end 10 consecutive losses on the home turf when Cold Springs visits Shabel Stadium for the first time since 2004.
The last time the Raiders celebrate a home victory was on September 25 of 2015 in a 47-6 rout of Curry.
Good Hope gave it a good effort last Friday with Cordova, but too many mistakes proved to be the road block with Cordova dropping the Raiders to 1-2 i n 4A, Region 6.
Good first halves by the Raiders at home with Fayette County and Cordova have been encouraging to coach Alan Scott.
Now the Raiders are set for revenge after they lost a slugfest at Cold Springs a year ago.
The Raiders are more experienced, especially in the backfield, led by the aggressive running of Matt Dixon. Sophomore QB Bailey Quick has withstood pressure and played strong, throwing the ball at times to Matt Hancock and Kyle Carlton.
Good Hope has not allowed Cold Springs to produce back to back wins against them since 1994 and 1995.
A victory for the Raiders match their win total from 2015 in Scott's third season at his alma mater.
