In the mix was a solid performance from the West Point Lady Warriors in reaching the 20-win plateau by outscoring Deshler 73-66.
West Point led 39-27 at the half, but could never stop Deshler from trying to comeback. Leading 55-41 heading to the fourth, the Lady Warriors saw a 16-point lead get narrowed into single digits. But free throw in the fourth for John Welborn's Lady Warriors, with Miriam Oldacre dropping in seven of eight, preserved the victory.
Oldcare tallied a game high 28 points while Molly Pond and Mackenzie Carter added 15. For Pendley, it was five first half three-pointers, her best game offensively of the season.
Lexi Shadix netted eight with Micah Oldacre and Kyler Hembree scoring four apiece.
Eighth grader Chloe Siegel tossed in 21 in a losing cause for Deshler, with 18 being delivered by freshman center Destiny Sanford and 12 by senior Abbi Holly.
West Point will return to the Coliseum for a Cullman County semifinal game Thursday at 6:15 p.m. vs. the winner of Cold Springs/Holly Pond. West Point is the top seed.

FLASH NOTES: Wallace State opened Tom Drake Coliseum for the 1st Saturday of 2019 with a busy day of prep basketball.
Ten games got played after somehow Oakman High School did not send the Wildcats for a game scheduled to be at 8:00 a.m. vs. the Falkville Blue Devils.
The competiton started at 9:10 a.m. with the Falkville Lady Blue Devils rumbling over American Christian Academy.
In a highly anticipated matchup, Decatur Heritage soared over the Good Hope Raiders, thanks to a 13-0 run in the second, turning a close game into a 39-19 halftime lead.
Cole Maddox performed well for the Raiders, tossing in a game high 20 points. But the Raiders were outscored by the No. 1 ranked Eagles 28-18 in field goals. Heritage had the Raiders doubled up in made shots 16 to 8 by halftime.
In the early afternoon, Cold Springs' Lady Eagles showed Phillips' She-Bears how to hit three-point field goals.
After starting 0 for 5, Camryn Crider found her shooting touch. Crider landed five from both corners in the second period, sending the Lady Eagles on a 26-8 surge and a stunning 40-13 halftime bulge against the No. 4 team in the 1A state rankings.
The No. 3 rated Lady Eagles in 2A, added 17 from Elizabeth Hill who was five of five from the line. For the game, the Lady Eagles connected on 20 field goals, 13 coming from three-point land.
During the early evening, the Cullman Lady Bearcats stepped on to the floor and had to fight through a very sluggish first half offensively with upset-minded Buckhorn.
Held to four field goals and none from leading scorer A.K. Eastman, the Lady 'Cats managed to overcome an 8-point deficit and tie the game at 14-14 at intermission on a shot by Alexandria Barker off the glass as time expired.
Ragan Quattlebaum nailed a baseline trey before time elapsed in the third, putting Cullman in front 26-23. The Lady 'Cats closed out the Lady Bucks by a 22-2 margin in the fourth, not allowing Buckhorn to hit a shot. Cullman got eight attempts to fall in the final period, three from long distance.
Quattlebaum and Olivia Neal guided the Lady 'Cats with 9 points apiece as Cullman moved to 17-4 for the season. The duo accounted for 15 of the team's 34 second half point tally.
Following the Cullman victory, those in attendance got to witness a talented shooter in Lindsay Lane's Tommy Murr. Murr had scored 61 points earlier in the season, showing plenty of skills in hitting outside shots and attacking defenders to the basket.
However, Murr's one-man attack was outdone by a team effort of scoring from No. 8 ranked Tanner. The Rattlers ran out to a 41-29 advantage at the half and increased the lead in the second half that was too much for Murr to rescue the Lions from.
In the last game that began at 9:23 p.m., ending at 10:35, Lauderdale County and Tanner struggled in shooting the ball. Leading 25-19 after the third, Lauderdale County gained an 8-2 advantage in fourth quarter scoring, with some key buckets coming from Hannah Tate to even their season record to 9-9.
This was Lauderdale's fourth holiday game at the Coliseum and the first time, they had prevailed as a winner.
The Rumble welcomed nine teams who are currently ranked in the state basketball poll.
Falkville girls 10th in 1A, Decatur Heritage 1st in 1A, Decatur Heritage girls 9th in 1A, Cold Springs girls 3rd in 2A, Phillips girls 4th in 1A, Columbia 10th in 6A, Buckhorn 5th in 6A, Cullman girls 9th in 6A, Tanner 8th in 2A.
