AHSAA Sub-regional scores Tuesday:
Class 2A: Mars Hill 68, St. Bernard 36:
FLASH NOTES: Saints faced a tough opponent that jumped ahead 11-3 after the first and 28-11 at halftime, never leading up.
The Saints finish the season at 15-7, clinching the Area 13 championship that gave them a chance to play a Sub-Regional game at the Fazi-Richard Athletic Center.
Class 3A: Holly Pond 87, Colbert Heights 69:
FLASH NOTES: An upset was in display early with Colbert Heights trailing the No. 5 ranked Broncos 18-14. But Holly Pond was able to offset early foul problems from leading scorer Griffin Morris.
The Broncos had a 24-point second quarter that allowed them to extend the lead to 42-30 at halftime.
Mitch Morris' Broncos put 45 on the scoreboard in the final half to get some breathing room and extend their winning streak to 13 since the start of January.
Holly Pond is 28-3 this season and have gone 60-5 in the last two years, with consecutive berths to the Northwest Regional.

Class 4A: Deshler 69, Good Hope 54:
FLASH NOTES: Good Hope fought hard with No. 4 Deshler in Tuscumbia before the Tigers turned back the Raiders late after Good Hope has closed the halftime deficit from 36-21 to 40-30 in the third quarter.
The Raiders conclude the season at 16-13 in reaching the sub-regional for the first time under second year coach Drew Adams.
Class 5A: Fairview 61, Mae Jemison 54:
FLASH NOTES: Inspired from their performance in winning the 5A, Area 12 title last Friday at Hayden, the Aggies put together a winning effort Tuesday night at Joe Shults Gym in eliminating defending state champion Mae Jemison from Huntsville.
First-year coach Branch Whitlock's Aggies are 16-14 and bound for the Northwest Regional.

Class 6A: Pinson Valley 109, Cullman 59
FLASH NOTES: Cullman's season ended in a rough defeat down in Jefferson County to Pinson Valley. The Bearcats conclude the season at 18-14.
